ARTPECKERS L.P. has no liability regarding to any incidents related to the inadequate operation of the website. The user/consumer of our website is required to refrain from any illegal act or omission, as well as follow and respect netiquette (set of rules that govern behavior online).  If this is not the case, the user/consumer is exclusively liable to acts or omissions carried out.

2. Main characteristics of the products or services

The website www.artpeckers.com is the online store/e-shop of the company ARTPECKERS L.P.. It deals with the manufacturing of wooden objects and their online sale. The products are made exclusively of certified wood and painted with natural varnish or eco-friendly watercolor paints. In addition, the products are manufactured and personally processed by our company. For the above reason, the products cannot be identical with one another. Variations may occur among them and also they may be different from the respective photo on the website, thus reflecting the uniqueness of each product.

The consumer bears sole responsibility for the suitability testing, as to make sure that the product covers their personal needs. Please note that the e-shop also sells games/toys. The games/toys manufactured by our company have the required CE marking, in accordance with Community legislation on European standards. Additionally, a detailed description of each product can be found, as well as suitable conditions of use. The consumer bears sole responsibility for the usage of objects which do not have the relevant CE marking on certified games/toys or are not described as toys (for ages over 14 years old).

Before purchasing, please find in the description the product’s properties (size, type of wood, type of varnish), its net weight, the shipping cost and the VAT (Value Added Tax) applied in Greece based on the principle of origin.

The website design, graphic design, design and processing of the products, photos, texts and these terms and conditions are the intellectual property of the company ARTPECKERS L.P. and protected by the Greek and European Law and the international conventions on intellectual property. The company reserves all rights regarding the illegal use and amendment of the above items, without the prior written consent of the company.

  1. Prices

Each product reference prize is always indicated in euros and all the payments are carried out in euros. The prices include all taxes, except the cost of shipping. We inform you that customs duties or import duties or other local taxes may occur to all international customers (not member countries of the EU) by the delivery of the product/s. All these additional duties or taxes ARE NOT INCLUDED in the price of the products. This is exclusively customer’s responsibility. Our company has no liability nor any responsibility for those additional duties or taxes.

  1. Order

The consumer adds to carts the products and accepts the terms of service. Before checking out, the consumer has the chance to correct any mistake. After clicking on the “CHECKOUT’’ button the consumer receives an email confirming the receipt of the order. The consumer receives always the products accompanied by the original sales receipt. In case of business invoice issuance, please complete all the details of your business.

  1.  Languages of the contract

The terms of the contract can be found in both Greek and English. The user/consumer can choose either, by selecting the respective icon. After selecting the language, the user/consumer bears sole responsibility for any misunderstanding regarding the terms of the contract.

  1.  Cancellation (of the contract)

You will receive an e-mail when the product is being delivered to the transport company/carrier. Until then, you can notify us that you wish to cancel the contract via e-mail at info@artpeckers.com or by calling +302310439276. Within fourteen (14) calendar days from the cancellation, you will receive the refund (shipping cost included). In any other case, our company reserves the right to the Article 10.

  1. Shipment and Cost

Shipment to Greece is free. The products are sent by ELTA courier or Geniki Taxydromiki. The products are usually dispatched within 1-3 working days. ATTENTION * Βe aware of possible shipping delay due to the current Covid-19 situation. We do collaborate with every courier company is currently active *

Shipping to countries of the European Union is free for orders over 150 euros with DHL Economy and over 200 euros with DHL Express. To countries outside the European Union (worldwide) the shipping starts from 20 euros up to 80 euros with DHL Express.  The products to European Union and the rest of the world are sent by DHL (Economy/5-7 working days of 1 delivery or Express/1-2 working days of delivery).  ATTENTION * Βe aware of possible shipping delay due to the current Covid-19 situation. *

Product delivery is carried out within thirty (30) business days from the conclusion of the contract. By way of exception and taking into account that all products are crafted by hand by our company, we reserve the right to inform the users/consumers of the website about any added delay, under specific circumstances. The respective indication will be visible to the user/consumer, who will have full knowledge of any delay due to the above reason, which constitutes a special condition between the contracting parties and is not regarded as force majeure. Any continuation of the order will be subject to the explicit acceptance of the condition above by the user/consumer, without prejudice to Article 10. In case there is no clear indication of added delay, the company remains obligated to deliver the product(s) within thirty (30) days from the conclusion of the contract.

  1. Force Majeure

ARTPECKERS L.P. has no liability for force majeure events including war, terrorist attacks, strikes, acts of state or governmental action etc. In such conditions, ARTPECKERS L.P. will contact the consumers. In addition, both parties preserve their right to withdraw the contract order (art.10).

  1. Right of withdrawal

Consumer has the right to withdraw for any reason within 14 days after receiving the product/s (day of delivery receipt). If this period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended till the next working day. The consumer has to inform us for his/her decision to withdraw. Please contact us via email including your decision of withdrawal. Here you can find a model withdrawal form:

In such a case the consumer must send the unused products back within 14 days of informing us. The consumer has also the right to send us back the unused products by adding a written statement of withdrawal. In the above mentioned cases, the consumer has to pay the returning costs of the unused product/s. We give a refund within 14 days from the receipt of the withdrawal. We preserve the right to delay refunding if we have not received the goods or the evidence of the receiving goods.

  1. Return and/or replacement policy for defective products

The consumer has the right to request the replacement of the defective, not matching your order or damaged products. In these cases, the consumer must inform us via email (info@artpeckers.com) and make a statement of replacement of the product/s. We inform you that the consumer will only be able to ask for a full refund when it is not possible to repair or replace the products. After 6 months of the customer needs to prove that the defect already existed on receipt of the goods.

Earrings cannot be returned for reasons of health.

This contract is governed by Greek and European law. Especially, it has been written according to the Directive 2000/31/EC (‘Directive on electronic commerce’), the Presidential Decree No 131/2003, the Greek law No 2251/1994, the Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 and Directive 2013/11/EU. Our company suggests the alternative dispute resolution for consumer disputes. In any case, the Greek courts in Thessaloniki will have the jurisdiction over these matters.
